As some Redditors recently pointed out, some characters, though long gone, still live on in fan memories, thanks in part to the noble nature of their deaths.

While it’s true that T-Dog played a relatively minor role in his time on the show, it would indeed be a huge oversight not to acknowledge how he aided the group in its death. Essentially choosing to trade his own life for Carol’s, T-Dog made sure his friend would live to fight another day. He was right about his sacrifice, as Carol would go on to become one of the most important and fearsome members of Rick’s band.

Abraham Ford was certainly a force to be reckoned with on the show, who despite the horrific death he suffered, still found the courage to stand up and look his killer in the eye. His courage and refusal to submit to evil makes Abraham a character fans hope to see more of in the spin-off anthology series. Tales of the Living Dead.
