Pets of the Week: Hercules is a gentle giant. Cosmo is very affectionate

JACKSON, MI – Hercules and Cosmo are just two of the many animals to Cascades Humane Society who are looking for loving homes forever.

As you can see from his size, the name Hercules is quite appropriate. He weighs over 100 pounds. That’s a lot of muscle, but don’t let his size or name scare you, this guy is a softy.

Hercules adores his toys and soft toys and even loves to cuddle them. He loves to run and would do well with a job or a house with plenty of space. He is very domestic, knows how to sit down and is motivated to learn more.

Hercules is a dog’s choice, so meeting if you have a dog currently in your home is required. Please bring proof of rabies vaccination.

Big Fat Cat Alert – Cosmo is a 6 year old male cat, which is exactly the cat you are looking for if you want a loving kitten.

Cosmo will find his way into your lap whenever he gets the chance and let you know when he wants more attention, pushing his head against your hand and rubbing against your legs.

Cosmo is a great lover. Let it work its way into your heart.

Cascades Humane Society, 1515 Carmen Drive, is open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. All visitors are encouraged to wear face masks to comply with state orders regarding COVID-19.
