A gang of masked men pinned a mom to her bed after barging into her home while she was in the shower.
The victim had a knife pointed to his face during the terrifying ordeal, in which the men seized money and jewelry.
She suffered a blade injury to her cheek and believes she may have been targeted after the gang mistook her for a dog breeder.
The mum-of-two was in the bathroom when she heard a loud noise around 5.30pm on Saturday, the Liverpool Echo reports.

CCTV captured the moment the gang – one of which it said was wielding a gun – broke into the house after throwing a brick through the back door.
The victim said: “I heard a bang while I was in the shower. I have two dogs and they were barking but with the wind I thought something had fallen in the garden.
“I heard another bang and with it I jumped out of the shower and saw three masked men with knives and a gun asking for money and jewelry.”
The 27-year-old said she told them she was of no value, but added: “One of the guys trapped me on the bed. He put the knife against my face. .
“They cut off my face. I said there was money in the drawer – there was only a small amount. I gave them my watches and jewelry and they got it. shouted ‘Is that all you got, is that all?’ “
The female paramedic, who wanted to be named for fear of reprisal, said she called police during the incident and the men left her home in Bebington, Wirral, after being scared.
Not knowing why she was targeted, she said she wondered if men had seen her “dear” dogs and mistakenly thought she had raised them.
She was home alone at the time and was grateful that her children were not with her.

She continued, “They put a brick in the back door of my kitchen – it’s full of glass. My little girl could have been at home, having dinner at the table. I’m just thankful the kids didn’t. are not there. “
She now wants to move into her home and said: “It really rocked me and I just want the people of Bebington to know what happened.”
An investigation into this terrifying incident has been opened by Merseyside Police.
