Ayrshire Rural Farm Approved Dog Breeding and Kennel Facility

Retrospective plans to open a dog breeding and kennel establishment in rural Ayrshire have been approved.

Nine buildings were part of the application at Lear House Craighead Farm, a mile north of Dunlop.

Of the affected structures, permission has been sought to erect buildings and change the use of a stable building to livery.

East Ayrshire Council planners have approved Ms Jacqueline Girasoli’s plans with one condition.

The applicant must fully pave the first five meters of the existing private road access within three months to reduce the amount of gravel and grit carried on a public road.
